School Counselors

In accordance with American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and Tennessee Comprehensive School Counseling Program guidelines, DuPont Tyler’s school counselors serve as student advocates, providing educational support for all students by promoting and facilitating their academic, personal/social, and career development within an educational environment.

DuPont Tyler’s school counseling program is comprehensive in scope, preventative in design, and developmental in nature, designed to ensure that every student receives the program benefits. Implemented by two credentialed Master’s level professional school counselors, the counseling program is an integral part of the total education program as counselors work collaboratively with faculty/staff, students, families, and community members to promote and enhance student achievement.
