School Mission Statement

"The mission of DuPont Tyler Middle School is to ensure a safe and orderly environment that will allow a high performing learning culture which includes all students and stakeholders. Diversity in learning experiences, based on data collected, will allow students to acquire the necessary tools to become responsible, independent, and productive citizens. By using shared decision-making processes, a quality education will be provided that meets the individual needs of all students."

School Vision Statement

"Our vision for DuPont Tyler is to create a safe environment which is conducive to learning. We believe that all children are entitled to a middle school experience that is free of bullying, intimidation, and other negative experiences that impede learning. This will be accomplished through the creation of a faculty and staff that is sensitive to the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of our children. The faculty and staff will use research based techniques to improve teaching so that the individual needs of students will be met, and quality education will be achieved for all students. Communication among the faculty and staff with parents and community members will ensure that our students have the opportunity to excel in every academic area. It is our vision to supply our children with the necessary tools to become productive citizens with a desire for lifelong learning."
